Japanese Canadian owned fishing boats impounded by the Royal Canadian Navy at Annieville Dyke on the Fraser River, 1941. 1,800 Japanese Canadian fishermen were put out of work. In all, about 1,200 boats were seized and sold by order in council from January to February 1942.
